Is it right to challenge the authority of God, the creator of the
heavens and the earth, by questioning His predestination in our lives?
By no means, God’s predestination is not causing the mistakes we make,
the sins we commit, or even the accidents that happen; it is God putting plans
in place for us to prosper in meaningful lives.
It is not the designer that drew house plans with walnut flooring that
caused the contractor (worker) to knock a bucket of paint over, ruining the
dark wooden planks.
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know
the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to
harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”
Romans 9:19 “You will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For who
can resist his will?””
Romans 9:20-22 “But who are you, O man, to answer back to
God? Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?”
Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel
for honorable use and another for dishonorable use? What if God, desiring to
show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience
vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,”
