Q: Can anything, be it object, thought, incident, or sin,
separate us from the love of God?
Romans 8:35-37 “ Who shall
separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or
persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? … No, in all these
things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.”
The scripture above leaves no room for error in its
definitive “No” and reassurance that through all these things, troubles,
persecution, poverty, danger, and death, we are more than victors through
Jesus.
If we fight our battles with Christ, depending and
trusting wholly in Him, we will have success in every battle we fight.
If we do not depend on Jesus and if we give Him the back
seat while we try to take on life by ourselves, we assuredly will not have good
success but we will not be unloved or forsaken because, even if it is our own
failure, no thing can separate us from the love of God is Christ Jesus our
Lord.
Hebrews 12:2
”Looking to Jesus,
the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him
endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the
throne of God.”
Acts 3:16 “And his
name—by faith in his name—has made this man strong whom you see and know, and
the faith that is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health in the
presence of you all.”
