75-11 Isn't our heavenly inheritance fully guaranteed?

Ephesians 1:11&13-14In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will,… In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory.”

Since God set an inheritance aside and sealed it with a promise, making us one of His adopted children, if a Christian repented away from God, could God have taken his inheritance away?
No, because the promise is not conditional so God could not have broken His word, but God would not have predestined that person for His kingdom if He knew that person would reject Him and His kingdom.
The previous posts have established that there are those who are predestined to be adopted children of God and there are those who are predestined for destruction; how then could God have predestined someone to be a vessel of honor if there end was a vessel of destruction?
