75 Question 19 Didn’t God choose us long before we accepted Him?

2 Thessalonians 2:13-14 “But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth.  To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

If God predestined us before we were born, then of course He knows which of us He has called and who will respond even though it has not happened yet.
Is it going to far to say that the creator of the heavens and the earth, which are too complex for any of us to comprehend, knew us before we came here and knew how we would answer his call?
We were bought with a price, purchased with preciousness, therefore, let us rejoice giving thanks to God for choosing us to be His adopted children, and calling us to Himself that we might choose life over death.

1 Corinthians 7:23  You were bought with a price; do not become bondservants1 of men.”

John 15:16 “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.”
