TTSR Unfunded Mandates

We would never build a house if we could not pay for the materials and labor it costs to build it unless we chose to incur a mountain of debt or, if this was the government building a house of unfunded mandates, just send the bill to someone else    so much simpler.
As ridiculous as that sounds, the government has started unfunded mandates in the name of ‘Safety,’ ‘Minimum wages,’ and ‘Clean air’ that have cost everyone, except of course the government, from the small businessman to the successful entrepreneur.
If we could buy without having to pay, a one sided trade that the free economy forbids, we would acquire all manner posssesions that we would never ordinarily buy because the expenses force us to weigh the costs and the benefits, something the government neglects to do for their unfunded mandates.
