75-12 Aren’t our good works predestined?

Ephesians 2:10  “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

When we were predestined before the creation of the world to be part of the body of Christ (Please read previous posts for further understanding on God’s predestination), God also prepared good works for us to do; note the use of the word ‘Should’, “That we should walk in them” means that these good works are prepared for us, but we choose whether to act on them or not.
Something not to be misunderstood on this topic is, although our good works are predestined, God did know and plan that we would do them; that does not mean that they will just happen on there own.
We cannot assume that because God knows and has our good works planned out that we do not actually have to do anything because, if we assume that and do nothing, the idle actions God saw in our lives before the beginning of time will happen.
