Didn’t Christ’s kingdom begin before the crucifixion?
Wasn’t Satan Cast out of Heaven during Jesus’ earthly ministry?
John 12:31-33 “Now is the
judgment of this world; now will the ruler of this world be cast out. And I, when I am lifted up from the earth,
will draw all people to myself.” He said this to show by what kind of death he was
going to die.”
When Jesus began his earthly ministry, he cast out demons because He
had authority as the Son of God, and because Satan had been cast out of heaven
as Luke 10:18, which is before the crucifixion, says “And he said to
them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning
from heaven.””
Many were healed, freed, and forgiven before Jesus paid the ultimate price;
there also were disciples and followers of Christ, so yes, Jesus’ ministry did
begin before His death and resurrection.
How much more authority do we have now that Jesus is risen and we are
filled with the Holy Spirit?
Matthew 12:28 “But if it is by the Spirit of God that I cast out demons, then the kingdom of
God has come upon you.”
Matthew 10:1 “And he called to him his twelve disciples and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to
cast them out, and to heal every disease and every affliction.”
