The failing public education system in America just cannot
seem to stop setting students up for disaster and even with the poor grades to prove
it, they are determined to put in more ‘innovating’ agendas like “outcome-based
education.”
It sounds good at first, most of their ideas do, but the
“outcome-based education” does not create a bottom line for the meaningless
studies and classroom time that wastes countable days of a student’s life.
To the contrary, it will allow even more ‘extracurricular’
activities and give teachers more excuses for test outcomes that might not have
been so embarrassing if self study was not the only way for responsible
students to learn, then again, with so few responsible parents that care enough
about their child’s future to home school or educate them online, what should
we expect?
